Chewy Walnut Squares
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Stir together egg, sugar and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Add nuts.
Bake 20-25 minutes in 8" greased square pan at 350 degrees.
Will be soft in center when taken from oven.
Cool and cut into squares.
